The Opportunity:

Join a school at a key stage of growth and development as a Maths Teacher. You will lead the delivery of Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the flexibility to support other subjects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire and engage students of all abilities in a supportive learning environment.
  • Support the development of students’ academic, personal and spiritual growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.
  • Contribute to the school's mission by upholding its Islamic values and ethos.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and pastoral care where appropriate.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
  • Stay updated with best practices in Mathematics education and curriculum development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Ability to manage and inspire a diverse range of students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the school's Islamic values and ethos.
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check and other safeguarding requirements.

Preferred

  • Experience in middle or senior leadership roles.
  • Background in Islamic education or community work.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Strong track record in academic achievement and student support.
