The Opportunity:
Join a school at a key stage of growth and development as a Maths Teacher. You will lead the delivery of Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the flexibility to support other subjects. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire and engage students of all abilities in a supportive learning environment.
- Support the development of students’ academic, personal and spiritual growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.
- Contribute to the school's mission by upholding its Islamic values and ethos.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and pastoral care where appropriate.
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
- Stay updated with best practices in Mathematics education and curriculum development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Ability to manage and inspire a diverse range of students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school's Islamic values and ethos.
- Willingness to undertake a DBS check and other safeguarding requirements.
Preferred
- Experience in middle or senior leadership roles.
- Background in Islamic education or community work.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Strong track record in academic achievement and student support.
