The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic and successful department. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on student learning and development. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, and have experience teaching KS3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students across KS3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student progress and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance departmental performance.
  • Support the school’s mission to ensure all students, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, reach their full potential.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school.
  • Engage with parents and carers to support student learning and progress.
  • Contribute to the school’s wider activities and events, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics education.
  • Commitment to student achievement and a supportive, inclusive approach to teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
  • Experience in a school undergoing expansion or development projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovative teaching methods.
