The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Maths Teacher to join a dynamic department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons across a range of courses including A-Levels and GCSEs.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Support students in developing their mathematical skills and confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the school’s digital innovation strategy by integrating technology into teaching and learning.
  • Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities.
  • Engage in enrichment activities and pastoral support for students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in mathematics education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics at A-Level and GCSE.
  • Commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning.
  • Ability to teach across the range of courses offered by the department.
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred

  • Experience with digital technologies in the classroom.
  • ECT (Early Career Teacher) or NQT ( Newly Qualified Teacher) with a willingness to develop professionally.
  • Experience in developing and delivering enrichment activities.
  • Familiarity with the use of iPads and other digital tools in teaching.
