The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Maths Teacher to join our department and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on student learning and contribute to a supportive and successful school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 with a focus on inspiring students and fostering a love of mathematics.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and engage students of all abilities.
  • Support the development of students’ mathematical skills and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and improve departmental outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities offered by the school and United Learning.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school and Trust policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching Mathematics.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.
  • Experience in teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on leadership responsibilities when required.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school that is part of a multi-academy trust.
  • Experience with CPD and professional development.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Experience in developing and delivering a curriculum that aligns with national standards.
