Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4 to support student achievement.
- Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to ensure continued improvement.
- Contribute to the development of the Religious Education curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the faculty.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.
- Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills through religious studies.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Uphold the school’s values and commitment to inclusion and respect.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Religious Education.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and improving teaching practice.
- Experience of working with students across KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on leadership responsibilities where appropriate.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching in a school with a strong focus on inclusion and student well-being.
- Knowledge of the latest teaching methodologies and technologies.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Familiarity with the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
