The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our supportive department and inspire students across Key Stages 3-4. This role offers the chance to contribute to curriculum development and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and motivate learners of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3-4 with a focus on academic excellence and student engagement
- Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils of all abilities
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Maths curriculum
- Support the Catholic ethos and mission of the school through teaching and pastoral care
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent standards and shared best practices
- Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students in line with the school’s values
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continuous improvement
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education
- Strong knowledge and passion for Mathematics
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school
- Experience working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a school setting
- Experience with teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3-4
- Experience with pastoral care and student support
- Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching and learning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
