The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our supportive department and inspire students across Key Stages 3-4. This role offers the chance to contribute to curriculum development and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and motivate learners of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3-4 with a focus on academic excellence and student engagement
• Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils of all abilities
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Maths curriculum
• Support the Catholic ethos and mission of the school through teaching and pastoral care
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent standards and shared best practices
• Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students in line with the school’s values
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continuous improvement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education
• Strong knowledge and passion for Mathematics
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
• Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school
• Experience working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds

Preferred

• Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a school setting
• Experience with teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3-4
• Experience with pastoral care and student support
• Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching and learning
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
