Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons to students aged 11-18.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and engagement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and support whole-school initiatives.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect and mutual support.

  • Participate in professional development and staff meetings to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Maths education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Experience in teaching students aged 11-18.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a Church of England school or similar setting.
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
