Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head of Department to ensure the delivery of a stimulating and effective curriculum.
• Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
• Contribute to the co-curriculum by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
• Work with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive school culture.
• Participate in professional development and staff training opportunities.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of school productions and performances.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
• Proven experience in teaching drama at the appropriate level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• Experience in delivering creative and engaging lessons.

Preferred

• Experience in a co-educational or boarding school environment.
• Involvement in school productions or extracurricular activities.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
• Knowledge of drama pedagogy and current educational trends.
• Fluency in additional languages.
