Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students aged 11–16, with a focus on achieving strong academic outcomes.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school’s leadership and academic goals.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching methods.
  • Support students in developing leadership skills and a sense of social responsibility.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the institution.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance teaching standards.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching maths to GCSE standard
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding attainment and achievement
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving positive outcomes for pupils
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Experience in innovative and creative teaching methods
  • Experience working in a disadvantaged community
  • Experience with leadership development programmes
  • Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting
