Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students aged 11–16, with a focus on achieving strong academic outcomes.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school’s leadership and academic goals.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching methods.
- Support students in developing leadership skills and a sense of social responsibility.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the institution.
- Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance teaching standards.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching maths to GCSE standard
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding attainment and achievement
- Demonstrated experience in achieving positive outcomes for pupils
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience in innovative and creative teaching methods
- Experience working in a disadvantaged community
- Experience with leadership development programmes
- Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting
