Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons that inspire a love of the subject

- Support students in developing their skills, confidence, and cultural capital
- Participate in continuous professional development and share best practice
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed
- Engage in extracurricular activities that enhance the learning experience
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS (or eligible for ECT status)
- Experience in teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives
- Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Experience in supporting students with diverse needs
