Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality maths lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that builds strong foundational knowledge.
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure they achieve their full potential.
• Stay up to date with the latest research and developments in maths education.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and behaviour.
• Provide individualised support to students, including those with special educational needs.
• Participate in staff development and training initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
• Experience in teaching maths at a relevant level.
• Commitment to high standards of student behaviour and academic achievement.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with curriculum design and delivery.
• Familiarity with teaching maths to students with special educational needs.
• Experience with assessment and tracking student progress.
• Knowledge of current maths education research and best practices.
• Experience working in a school with a strong co-operative ethos.
