Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality maths lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that builds strong foundational knowledge.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure they achieve their full potential.
- Stay up to date with the latest research and developments in maths education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and behaviour.
- Provide individualised support to students, including those with special educational needs.
- Participate in staff development and training initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Experience in teaching maths at a relevant level.
- Commitment to high standards of student behaviour and academic achievement.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum design and delivery.
- Familiarity with teaching maths to students with special educational needs.
- Experience with assessment and tracking student progress.
- Knowledge of current maths education research and best practices.
- Experience working in a school with a strong co-operative ethos.
