The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across a range of ability levels.
  • Plan and develop curriculum content that aligns with the school’s innovative approach to education.
  • Collaborate with industry and university partners to enhance the learning experience.
  • Support students in achieving excellent results in GCSE, A-level and vocational qualifications.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral care, extracurricular activities and professional development.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality teaching experience.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them reach their full potential.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Maths education and incorporate new teaching methods and technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Commitment to student progress and a passion for education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working with diverse student groups and supporting students from a range of backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with industry and university partnerships in education.
  • Experience in developing and delivering vocational or technical qualifications.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and the use of technology in the classroom.
