The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our committed department and contribute to the continued success of our school. This role offers the chance to inspire and educate students across all key stages, from early years through to Sixth Form.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality maths lessons that engage and challenge students at all key stages
  • Develop innovative teaching strategies that promote deep understanding and problem-solving skills
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure outstanding outcomes and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support departmental goals
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement
  • Participate in the school’s professional development programme and contribute to staff training
  • Support the school’s values of ambition, responsibility, and excellence in all aspects of teaching and learning
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to enhance student learning and development

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience
  • Ability to teach maths across all key stages (KS3, 4, and 5)
  • Proven track record of achieving excellent student progress and outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Further Mathematics at KS5
  • Background in leading or contributing to curriculum development
  • Experience in working with Early Career Teachers
  • Involvement in extracurricular maths activities or competitions
