The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality maths lessons that are engaging and tailored to the needs of students.
- Develop and implement an innovative maths curriculum that supports student progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a consistent and pupil-focused learning experience.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to support learning.
- Participate in professional development and training to enhance teaching practice.
- Support students with additional needs through differentiated instruction and individualised support.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student achievement and development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in maths education.
- Strong commitment to teaching students with special education needs.
- Ability to deliver an inclusive and innovative maths curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a school setting, either mainstream or special needs.
Preferred
- Experience working with students with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs.
- Background in primary education with an interest in maths.
- Experience in developing and implementing curriculum resources.
- Familiarity with SEN-specific teaching strategies and interventions.
