Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students from Year 7 to Year 13.
  • Build strong relationships with students and families to support student motivation and achievement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of up-to-date teaching pedagogy.
  • Act as a Form Tutor to support student well-being and academic success.
  • Participate in weekly CPD sessions and use non-contact time for professional development.
  • Collaborate with Subject Team Leaders and the Collegiate Trust Education Team to improve teaching and learning.
  • Support the school’s commitment to high standards of behaviour and respect.
  • Encourage a culture of integrity, kindness, and lifelong learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven ability to deliver effective Maths lessons
  • Experience working with students from Year 7 to Year 13
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to high standards of behaviour and respect

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Experience with teaching A Level Maths
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods
  • Experience with professional development and continuous learning
