Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the mathematics curriculum across all Key Stages.
- Mentor and support staff to enhance teaching and learning strategies.
- Implement evidence-based approaches to improve student outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a Maths Mastery approach and IB Middle Years Programme.
- Provide leadership in A-Level and Further Mathematics, including curriculum development and teaching.
- Contribute to the school’s strategic vision for mathematics education.
- Engage in continuous professional learning and share best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of teaching and learning initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a strong background in mathematics education.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a school or MAT.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design and delivery.
- Experience in teaching across Key Stages, including A-Level and Further Mathematics.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred
- Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme or Maths Mastery.
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.
- Experience in leading professional development for teachers.
- Knowledge of innovative teaching methodologies and assessment strategies.
