The Opportunity:

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, research-informed curriculum that inspires and challenges students. You will contribute to a collaborative and supportive teaching environment that values innovation and excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Maths lessons using a Maths Mastery approach and evidence-based pedagogical practices.
Foster strong, purposeful relationships with students to support their academic and personal development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the curriculum, ensuring alignment with the IB Middle Years Programme.
Support students at all key stages, including Post-16, to achieve excellent outcomes in Mathematics.
Engage in professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Provide pastoral support and contribute to the school’s commitment to student well-being.
Monitor and assess student progress to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Participate in a supportive multi-academy trust (MAT) network to share best practices and resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
Experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Post-16.
Strong knowledge of Maths Mastery and research-informed teaching methods.
Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Preferred

Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).
Experience with variation theory and cognitive task design.
Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
Experience in curriculum development or assessment design.
