Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that engage and challenge students.
Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
Support the development of the department’s co-curricular programme.
Monitor and assess student progress to ensure outstanding outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching methods.
Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate.
Stay up to date with curriculum developments and educational research.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
Experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

Experience in a school setting that values innovation and diversity.
Leadership experience or a willingness to take on departmental responsibilities.
Experience with curriculum development or co-curricular programme design.
Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into teaching.
