Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
- Support the development of the department’s co-curricular programme.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure outstanding outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching methods.
- Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate.
- Stay up to date with curriculum developments and educational research.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a school setting that values innovation and diversity.
- Leadership experience or a willingness to take on departmental responsibilities.
- Experience with curriculum development or co-curricular programme design.
- Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into teaching.
