Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum and department schemes of work.
• Support curriculum development and ensure the delivery of a high-quality, comprehensive programme across all key stages.
• Monitor and track student progress through homework and assessments, providing targeted interventions where needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents to keep them informed of student progress and areas for development.
• Collaborate with department members to continuously improve teaching and learning practices.
• Work with senior leadership to implement school improvement plans and priorities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3, with KS4 experience being an advantage.
• Strong foundation in mathematics and ability to deliver engaging lessons that foster student understanding and enthusiasm.
• Familiarity with examination boards and curriculum frameworks.
• Commitment to extracurricular activities, including mathematical competitions and clubs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take initiative in departmental improvements.
