Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that link mathematics to real-world applications.
  • Support the development and delivery of a comprehensive and high-quality curriculum.
  • Monitor and track student progress through homework and assessments, providing targeted support and challenge.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to keep them informed of student progress and development.
  • Collaborate with department members to enhance teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
  • Contribute to extracurricular initiatives, including maths competitions and clubs.
  • Work with senior leadership to implement school improvement strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A bachelor’s degree with QTS (or international equivalent).
  • Experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of IGCSE, A Level, and IBDP mathematics curricula.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons that foster student understanding and enthusiasm.

Preferred

  • Experience with examination boards and curriculum frameworks.
  • Background in extracurricular activities or leadership within a school setting.
  • Familiarity with international education standards and best practices.
