Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons aligned with department schemes of work and real-world applications.
• Support curriculum development and ensure the delivery of a comprehensive, high-quality programme across key stages.
• Monitor and track student progress using homework and assessments, providing targeted support and intervention.
• Communicate effectively with parents, sharing student progress and setting clear targets for improvement.
• Collaborate with department members to enhance teaching practices and departmental success.
• Work with senior leadership to implement school improvement strategies and priorities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3 with KS4 experience considered an advantage.
• Strong foundation in mathematics and knowledge of relevant examination boards and curriculum frameworks.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons that promote student understanding and enthusiasm.
• Commitment to extracurricular activities, including mathematics competitions and clubs.

Preferred

• Experience with international curricula such as the IB or A Levels.
• Demonstrated success in improving student achievement and outcomes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and parents.
