The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join our team and support students in achieving outstanding results in English Language and Literature at GCSE, IB, and A Level. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant and growing school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English up to IGCSE level, with the ability to teach IBDP as an advantage.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Track student progress using data, observations, and assessments.
  • Maintain discipline and promote punctuality, good behaviour, and high standards of work.
  • Support the development of the school’s strategic priorities and contribute to faculty planning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design an engaging and innovative curriculum.
  • Participate in professional development and support the growth of others in the team.
  • Engage with the school’s enrichment programme and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS (or international equivalent).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding teaching practice in an innovative and inspirational way.
  • Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching IBDP English.
  • Strong track record in delivering excellent exam results.
  • Experience with collaborative planning and curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with international education standards and practices.
