Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Biology up to IBDP Higher Level in an engaging and inspiring manner.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking in students.
• Track student progress using data, observations, and assessments to support academic success.
• Maintain discipline and encourage good behavior in line with school procedures.
• Assess student work according to school policies and contribute to intervention programs.
• Support departmental planning and curriculum development with a focus on student engagement.
• Participate in staff meetings, open evenings, and parents’ evenings.
• Contribute to the pastoral care of students through tutoring responsibilities.
• Engage in the school’s extracurricular programs and support science-related initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in teaching Biology at GCSE and IBDP or A level standards.
• Ability to deliver innovative and inspiring lessons.
• Strong understanding of scientific education and curriculum delivery.

Preferred

• Experience teaching KS3 Science and other areas of the IGCSE Double Award Science.
• Background in developing and leading extracurricular science initiatives.
• Familiarity with STEM facilities and innovative teaching methods.
