The Opportunity:

A Media Lecturer is sought to deliver high-quality teaching across Level 1-3 Creative Media study programmes, including T Levels in Media, Production & Broadcasting. This role offers a chance to shape the future of learners and contribute to a dynamic and impactful educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative teaching across a range of Media study programmes.
• Support learners to achieve their full potential through personalized and effective instruction.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of curriculum content in line with awarding body specifications.
• Track student progress and ensure assessments are conducted in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices.
• Use information systems and databases to manage course administration and learner data.
• Maintain strong relationships with learners, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and ensure the curriculum remains relevant and responsive.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree in a relevant subject area such as 2D Animation, 3D Animation, VFX, or TV/Video Production.
• Experience in delivering outstanding teaching and supporting learners to succeed.
• Ability to develop positive working relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience in using information systems and databases.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Preferred

• A teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one.
• Experience in vocational education or related fields.
• Knowledge of emerging trends in the media industry.
• Experience with T Levels or similar qualifications.
