The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Exams and Data Manager to support a school undergoing significant growth and transition to new premises. This role is central to ensuring the effective management of exams and data systems, with a focus on accuracy, organisation, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the administration of all exams, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Maintain and update MIS systems, including Bromcom, to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.
  • Analyse and present data in spreadsheets for a range of stakeholders, including senior leadership and external bodies.
  • Develop and implement processes for data management that support the school’s strategic goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless data flow and reporting.
  • Monitor and evaluate data trends to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure all data is stored securely and in line with data protection regulations.
  • Support the school’s commitment to transparency and accountability through accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in exam and data management within an educational setting.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and data manipulation.
  • Experience in managing MIS systems, preferably Bromcom.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to present data clearly to stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience in a high-achieving school or college environment.
  • Familiarity with A Level and GCSE examination processes.
  • Experience in supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Background in promoting social mobility and inclusion in education.
