The Opportunity:

As a Media Technician, you will play a key role in creating and maintaining high-quality multimedia resources and supporting the school’s online presence. This position is ideal for someone passionate about using digital tools to enhance communication and engagement with parents, students, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage multimedia content for the school’s website and social media platforms.
• Create and edit photos and videos to support the school’s marketing and communication needs.
• Assist in the promotion of the school through strategic use of digital media.
• Maintain and update the school’s online presence to ensure it reflects current events and initiatives.
• Collaborate with the administration team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all digital channels.
• Support the production of promotional materials for school events and campaigns.
• Ensure all media content is of high quality and aligned with the school’s values and standards.
• Stay up to date with the latest digital tools and trends in educational media.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience managing and uploading content for an organisation’s website and social media.
• Proficiency in photo editing and videography.
• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred

• Experience with educational marketing or content creation.
• Familiarity with digital media platforms and tools.
• Previous experience in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for digital content.
