Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the science technician team to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain and manage science equipment, resources, and laboratory environments to the highest standards.
• Provide technical support for science lessons, experiments, and extracurricular activities.
• Uphold strict health and safety protocols and safeguarding procedures.
• Collaborate with teachers to enhance the learning experience for all students.
• Ensure that all science facilities are well-maintained and ready for use.
• Support the delivery of after-school science clubs and enrichment activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of science-related initiatives and projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in a science technician role, ideally within an educational setting.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to health and safety and safeguarding standards.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and colleagues.

Preferred

• Experience in managing a team or leading projects.
• Knowledge of modern science equipment and laboratory practices.
