Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Spanish and French to KS4 students, with potential to teach KS5.
• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote a love of language learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative and imaginative teaching strategies.
• Support student achievement through tailored learning and assessment approaches.
• Participate in a bespoke CPD programme to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Stay up to date with developments in the MFL curriculum and pedagogy.
• Work closely with the Head of Department to ensure the continued success of the MFL team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Spanish and French at KS4 level.
• Strong subject knowledge in both Spanish and French.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to student achievement and professional development.

Preferred

• Experience teaching at KS5 level.
• Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices and pastoral care.
• Experience with cross-curricular collaboration.
• Fluency in Spanish and French at a native or near-native level.
• Demonstrable track record of raising student achievement and engagement.
