The Opportunity:

The role involves delivering high-quality Business education at both A Level and BTEC, while inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Business at A Level and BTEC
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and maintain high academic standards through effective planning and preparation
  • Support students in achieving their best through individualised and group-based learning
  • Work closely with colleagues to continually improve and update the Business curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, motivating atmosphere
  • Contribute actively to the co-curricular life of the school
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong subject knowledge in Business, including A Level and BTEC
  • Experience in teaching and delivering Business curriculum at relevant levels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate students effectively
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Commitment to the pastoral care and overall development of students

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and updating Business curricula
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Background in Initial Teacher Training or professional development
  • Involvement in co-curricular activities or leadership roles
