Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and care of students during lunchtime.
• Monitor and maintain acceptable behaviour, modelling positive conduct at all times.
• Build strong, positive relationships with students to support their development.
• Supervise students effectively and ensure a secure and welcoming environment.
• Support the school's mission of creating a positive learning culture and student-focused environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a consistent and supportive approach.
• Assist in the implementation of school policies and procedures during lunchtimes.
• Encourage and promote positive interactions among students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with young people in a school or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain discipline and manage behaviour effectively.
• Commitment to student safety and wellbeing.
• Flexibility to work term-time only, Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a supervisory or support role within education.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Experience with behaviour management strategies.
• Understanding of school policies and procedures.
• Interest in developing a career in the education sector.
