The Opportunity:

As a Minibus Driver, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s transport operations, including daily shuttle runs and trips. This is a part-time role with opportunities to make a meaningful impact on students’ experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the minibus safely for daily student pickups and drop-offs between school sites.
  • Transport students to and from planned extra-curricular activities and school trips.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities and Operations teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized vehicle at all times.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and school policies.
  • Assist with loading and unloading students and equipment as required.
  • Report any vehicle issues or incidents to the Facilities Manager promptly.
  • Ensure punctuality and reliability in all transport-related duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a full British manual driving licence for a minimum of 24 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Ability to drive a 16 seater minibus (PCV licence is desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexible and willing to work across both school sites.

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar transport or driving role.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with school transport systems and procedures.
