The Opportunity:

As a Part Time Sports Coach, you will support the PE department with football training, games sessions, and lunchtime sporting activities. This role is ideal for someone interested in a teaching career and looking to contribute to a high-performing, innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers with Games afternoons and football training sessions
  • Assist in the organisation and running of sporting events and house competitions
  • Deliver lunchtime sporting activities and Floreat sessions
  • Attend school fixtures and events, both during and after school
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and contribute to the wider life of the school
  • Manage administrative tasks related to sporting events and activities
  • Help develop and maintain a positive sporting culture across the school
  • Provide support to students in a safe and encouraging environment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • NVQ Level 4 coaching qualification
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Willingness to attend fixtures and events, both at home and away
  • Commitment to the well-being and development of students

Preferred

  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Experience in teaching or working with children
  • Interest in pursuing a teaching career
  • Experience with football coaching or sports management
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum and PE delivery
