The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our growing team. This role offers the chance to inspire students and contribute to a school community focused on academic excellence and student well-being. The successful candidate will teach both French and Spanish across key stages 3 and 4, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach French and Spanish to KS3 students, and at least one of these subjects to KS4 and beyond.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that promote academic excellence and student engagement.
- Collaborate with middle and senior leaders to ensure continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and intervention.
- Champion inclusive practices and ensure all students feel valued and supported.
- Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and pedagogy.
- Work closely with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum.
- Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages, specifically French and Spanish.
- Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
- Commitment to student well-being and inclusion.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and senior leadership.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at KS4 and beyond.
- Familiarity with inclusive education and pastoral care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation in teaching.
