The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our growing team. This role offers the chance to inspire students and contribute to a school community focused on academic excellence and student well-being. The successful candidate will teach both French and Spanish across key stages 3 and 4, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach French and Spanish to KS3 students, and at least one of these subjects to KS4 and beyond.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that promote academic excellence and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with middle and senior leaders to ensure continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and intervention.
  • Champion inclusive practices and ensure all students feel valued and supported.
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Work closely with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages, specifically French and Spanish.
  • Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
  • Commitment to student well-being and inclusion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and senior leadership.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at KS4 and beyond.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education and pastoral care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation in teaching.
