Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Develop creative and interactive teaching resources and methods.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum and learning experiences.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Proven experience in teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in a diverse and inclusive setting.
  • Familiarity with using technology in Geography lessons.
  • Experience in developing cross-curricular links.
  • Leadership experience or a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
