Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging and creative lessons in Modern Foreign Languages.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated teaching and learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the school’s MFL curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
- Stay up to date with current developments in language teaching and learning.
- Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Modern Foreign Languages.
- Experience of teaching at secondary level.
- Commitment to inclusive and innovative teaching practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching a range of languages including French, Spanish, and German.
- Experience in developing and delivering cross-curricular projects.
- Experience with using digital tools in the classroom.
- Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
