The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons to students of all abilities.
- Create innovative and inclusive teaching strategies that promote student achievement and enthusiasm for Mathematics.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Mathematics department.
- Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care where appropriate.
- Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and incorporate new teaching methods into classroom practice.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering Mathematics to a range of ability levels.
- Familiarity with using digital tools and resources in the classroom.
- Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
- Involvement in extra-curricular Mathematics activities or competitions.
