Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in both French and Spanish across secondary levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with GCSE and A-Level specifications.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
  • Organize and lead cultural events and language exchange programs.
  • Utilize modern teaching technologies and online resources to enhance student learning.
  • Collaborate with other subject areas and participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Support students in achieving examination success in both languages.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments in line with school standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish, French, Modern Languages, or related field.
  • Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent).
  • Native or near-native proficiency in both French and Spanish.
  • Proven experience teaching both languages at secondary level.
  • Strong understanding of GCSE and A-Level specifications for both languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach both languages to examination level.

Preferred

  • Experience in organizing cultural events and language exchanges.
  • Familiarity with current MFL teaching practices and assessment methods.
  • Experience with language teaching technologies and online resources.
