Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons up to GCSE and A Level
  • Develop and implement inclusive sports provision for all students
  • Support the school’s Elite Player Pathway (EPP) programme
  • Collaborate with coaches, parents, and students to enhance student performance and engagement
  • Stay updated with contemporary PE teaching methods and assessment frameworks
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Participate in co-curricular sports activities and events
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s sporting facilities and programs

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified to teach academic PE (GCSE, A Level or BTEC Sport)
  • Experience in developing inclusive sports provision
  • Knowledge of contemporary PE teaching methods and assessment frameworks
  • Understanding of differentiated teaching strategies for physical education
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with coaches, parents, and students
  • Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds

Preferred

  • Experience coaching or leading netball
  • Ability to support the school's Elite Player Pathway (EPP) programme
  • Experience with international curriculum standards
