A school is seeking a passionate and motivated Physical Education Teacher to join its thriving sports department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality academic PE lessons up to GCSE and A Level
  • Develop and implement inclusive sports programs for all students
  • Coach and lead co-curricular sports activities, including netball
  • Collaborate with coaches, parents, and students to support student well-being and achievement
  • Support the school’s Elite Player Pathway (EPP) programme
  • Utilize contemporary teaching methods and differentiated strategies in PE instruction
  • Promote a culture of physical activity and healthy lifestyles among students
  • Maintain and update sports facilities and equipment as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified to teach academic PE (GCSE, A Level or BTEC Sport)
  • Experience in developing inclusive sports provision
  • Knowledge of contemporary PE teaching methods and assessment frameworks
  • Understanding of differentiated teaching strategies for physical education
  • Strong communication skills for working with coaches, parents, and students
  • Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds

Preferred

  • Experience coaching or leading netball
  • Ability to support the school’s Elite Player Pathway (EPP) programme
  • Experience with international curricula or teaching in a multicultural environment
