Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, curriculum-focused lessons in Music and Drama up to KS5.

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of extracurricular and enrichment activities.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

  • Work closely with the leadership team to implement new curriculum initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Music and Drama.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across key stages.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Experience working in a school environment with a focus on student progress and outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and leadership.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching up to KS5.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and music software.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular activities.
  • Background in curriculum development or innovation.
  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on social mobility and inclusion.
