Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Teach music theory, history, and practical musicianship across vocal, instrumental, and digital components.
• Support students preparing for IGCSE and A-level Music examinations.
• Coordinate school-wide performances, recitals, and musical productions.
• Design inclusive and globally relevant music curricula that integrate diverse genres and traditions.
• Foster a strong musical culture through student clubs, workshops, and school events.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to support holistic student development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music, Music Education, or related performing arts discipline
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, or international equivalent)
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a music role
• Experience organising and leading performances and school events

Preferred

• Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Experience in an international or Cambridge school setting
• Technological proficiency in music software (e.g., GarageBand, Sibelius, Soundtrap)
• Culturally responsive with a global outlook and respect for diversity
