The Opportunity:

As a Performing Arts Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the creative and artistic identity of a school. Whether your expertise lies in drama, dance, or both, you will help students express themselves, build confidence, and develop their performance skills through engaging and dynamic lessons and productions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in one or more performing arts disciplines across the school.
• Design learning experiences that foster creativity, confidence, and self-expression in students.
• Support students in developing technical and performance skills for school events, showcases, and examinations.
• Direct or support school productions, assemblies, concerts, and seasonal performances.
• Facilitate extracurricular performing arts clubs, workshops, and competitions.
• Contribute to the development and enrichment of the Creative and Performing Arts curriculum.
• Collaborate with other departments to support interdisciplinary projects and themed events.
• Provide regular, constructive feedback to students and parents on progress and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Performing Arts, Drama, Theatre, or a related discipline
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in an international, premium, or Cambridge International Curriculum school
• Demonstrated success in directing performances, school productions, or student showcases

Preferred

• Additional certifications in drama or dance performance
• Training in or familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum
