Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a school-wide numeracy strategy to improve student outcomes.
• Lead and support staff in the delivery of high-quality mathematics teaching and learning.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of numeracy interventions and provide actionable feedback.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align numeracy goals with the school’s overall academic vision.
• Provide professional development and coaching to teachers in mathematics and numeracy.
• Analyze student performance data to identify trends and inform targeted support.
• Work with external partners and stakeholders to enhance numeracy provision across the school.
• Ensure consistent and high-quality numeracy practices across all year groups and subjects.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in a leadership role within education, ideally in mathematics or numeracy.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics curriculum and assessment practices.
• Experience in leading professional development and coaching teachers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive improvement.

Preferred

• Experience in developing and implementing school-wide numeracy strategies.
• Background in teaching mathematics at secondary level.
• Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
