Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Key Stage 3 curriculum requirements
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all students
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods
- Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to promote a shared vision for student success
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the ongoing growth of the teaching team
- Promote the school’s values and mission in all aspects of teaching and student interaction
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A strong interest in science and the ability to inspire and engage students
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet curriculum requirements
- Basic classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
- Commitment to supporting every student’s progress and development
Preferred
- Relevant qualifications or training in science or education
- Experience in teaching Science at Key Stage 3
- Experience with continuous professional development and collaborative teaching practices
- Strong enthusiasm for working as part of a supportive and inclusive school community
