The Opportunity:

As a Nursery Teacher Ages 3-4, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning journeys of young children. You will create a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment that supports the holistic development of children aged 3–4, while promoting the school’s values of kindness, curiosity, and courage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
  • Build strong relationships with families and colleagues to support children’s development.
  • Support early development across all areas of learning, including social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
  • Work collaboratively with other teaching staff to ensure a consistent and positive learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development.
  • Ensure the classroom is safe, tidy, and well-organised at all times.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified early years educator with relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a full-time, permanent role.
  • Commitment to the values of the school: kind hearts, curious minds, and courageous futures.

Preferred

  • Experience working with children aged 3–4.
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Familiarity with play-based learning approaches.
  • Experience with child safeguarding and welfare procedures.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
