Key Responsibilities:
- Support qualified teachers in delivering high-quality early years education based on the EYFS framework
- Create engaging and safe learning environments that promote holistic development in young children
- Assist in planning and delivering activities that encourage creativity, communication, and physical development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent and effective teaching practices
- Monitor and support individual child progress and development
- Maintain accurate records of children’s learning and development
- Promote positive behavior and build strong relationships with children and parents
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Basic understanding of child development principles
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Patience, enthusiasm, and creativity when supporting young learners
Preferred
- Experience with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally within the EYFS framework
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) or similar
