The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Office Administrator to join a dynamic and welcoming school environment. This role offers the chance to contribute to the smooth running of a successful primary school while supporting the Business and Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to handle a variety of challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain school office systems and records
- Support the Business and Finance Manager with administrative tasks
- Assist with the processing of student and staff data
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external stakeholders
- Cover playground and lunch duties as required
- Maintain a welcoming and professional front-of-school presence
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with the implementation of school policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Enthusiastic and reliable individual with a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well within a team and handle varied challenges
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check
Preferred
- Previous experience in a school office environment
- Knowledge of SIMS and FMS systems
- GCSEs or equivalent in core subjects (grades A*-C or 9-7)
