Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that put the child at the centre of learning
  • Maximize pupil progress and attainment through effective teaching and assessment strategies
  • Foster independent learning and encourage creativity in curriculum delivery
  • Reflect on and develop teaching practice to continuously improve student outcomes
  • Contribute to the strategic development and leadership of the school
  • Support the inclusion and academic success of all pupils, including those with special educational needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate records and report regularly on student progress and achievement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with ECT/MP/UP status on the teacher scale
  • Proven experience in primary education, preferably at UKS2 level
  • Strong commitment to inclusive education and supporting children with special educational needs
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to reflect on and develop teaching practice

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum innovation and implementing creative teaching strategies
  • Demonstrated success in raising attainment and progress in primary learners
  • Experience with SEND and supporting disadvantaged pupils
  • Passion for professional development and leadership in education
