The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of school operations, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement a vision for the school that aligns with the Trust’s mission and values.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, professional development, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee curriculum design and delivery, ensuring it meets the needs of all students.
  • Build strong relationships with staff, parents, and the local community.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and attainment across all year groups.
  • Support the development of school leaders and teachers through coaching and mentoring.
  • Ensure the school maintains a safe and inclusive environment for all students and staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Head with a track record of successful leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of primary education and curriculum development.
  • Commitment to inclusive and quality-first teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead a large team effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational partnership.
  • Familiarity with school improvement initiatives and teaching school hubs.
  • Experience with phonics programmes such as Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised.
  • Demonstrable success in driving up standards and achieving high Ofsted ratings.
