The Opportunity:
A Part Time Chemistry Teacher is needed to join a dedicated Science Faculty. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons to students from KS3 to A-Level.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and apply best practices in teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of co-curricular activities.
- Support the school’s ethos and commitment to student welfare and academic success.
- Manage classroom environments effectively and promote positive student behaviour.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science Faculty’s overall performance.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Chemistry or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry from KS3 to A-Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively and encourage student engagement.
- Experience in using ICT tools for teaching and learning.
Preferred
- Experience in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.
- Familiarity with the UK education system and curriculum requirements.
- Experience with behaviour management and inclusion strategies.
- Knowledge of science-related competitions or enrichment programs.
